Well, I have to report that the boys from Australia weren't that bad. They only stayed three days so there was no getting sick of them, we had intelligent conversation on all manner of subjects and they left their rooms, the kitchen and bathrooms tidy.

They weren't loud and didn't get drunk. For one 19-year-old and two twenty-year-olds that can't be bad! They're now off to Cadiz then Portugal, France and Holland before heading back home to Oz and are already planning their next trip  to Asia – China, Vietnam, Thailand etc.

Our newly revamped website is getting visited (getting lots of 'hits') I am told and the feedback we're getting from it is very good indeed. People are saying how easy it is to navigate and they are finding it particularly good because they can still read their copy of The News when on holiday elsewhere in the world - people have reported from France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Spain, the USA, Australia and, of course, the UK to name but a few. So, not only are we read on the Costa del Sol, it would appear that we are now a worldwide force!

Even though it is August and blisteringly hot (it can't get any more humid though, can it......?) there's still plenty going on, so have a look at the Community News and Out and About sections where we will be reporting on all the up and coming events during August and beyond.
