What a whopper...!
I expect you noticed that there were another 8 pages in your copy of The News last week. That means more news, more information and lots more interesting things to read and find out about.We have been able to do this is because The News is so popular that advertisers - and, let's face it, they pay our wages at the end of the day - know that our paper is the place to be seen. We had got to the stage that advertising was so prolific we felt we needed more space for news, views and features.
Now you will find more world news, more news from the UK to keep you in touch what's happening that friends and relatives back in the UK are talking about, more community news for what's going on where we all live and more sports news. Plus we are running stories written by local and new up-coming authors for you to enjoy.
The team here at your favourite paper is very proud of the fact that, since starting from scratch under two years ago, we have grown by nearly 70%! That's quite an achievment and the feedback we get from both advertisers and readers is fantastic. Without you we wouldn't be here so we'd all like to say a very big “Thank You” for all your support. If there's anything you feel is missing or we're not doing right, let us know and we'll be happy to see if we can improve.
