As I told you last week, we have now moved offices. It seems like only last week that we moved from our original, tiny office on the square in Coin but it was a year ago and, once again we had outgrown it.
Our army helped pack everything up so a huge “Thank you” has to go to Sue, Mick, Abi, Cathy, Jean and Wendy for humping all those boxes about last Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday it was Move Day so, once again we all grabbed brooms, brushes and mops to clean the old office and spruce up the new, then came the unpacking bit. You would not believe the amount of stuff we’ve accumulated over the three years (our 3rd birthday is coming up on the 17th of this month!).
So Mick and Sue got out of bed early on their Saturday off to help myself and Geoff unpack again. Hopefully, this will be our home now for quite a while – there’s only so much humping one can take! Anyway, the new office is a little out of town, opposite the La Trocha Commercial Centre on the Coin to Cartama road, and we’re above De Cotta Law with plenty of parking so you can all pop in to see us again now without having to pay a fortune for parking. Telephone numbers remain the same.
Sadly, JK’s management closed the venue this week with a great party on Saturday night but, now there’s nowhere up here in the “woop woop” (as the Aussies call it) for us all to get a bit of exercise dancing. Great shame it’s closed – but it was fab having it for a while.
Lastly, a rather nasty little rumour has been going around (so, what’s new?!) that Ted that runs Sizzlin’s in Fuengirola has died. I can assure you that he is indeed very much alive and kicking and that they’d love to see you in the restaurant to prove it!
