I was interested in the comments made last week in Wickham’s World on page 2. I have also been wondering how on earth the British Government have been able to get away with “stealing” our money for five years.

However, up until reading the column last week, I hadn’t realised quite how much I won’t be getting. Of course, I also read later in the paper that when (and if at this rate) we do get the money it will be at a much higher rate. Of course it will be, they’ll only be giving us back what they nicked in the first place!

I for one would be happy to pay a lawyer a percentage of what he/she recovered from the five to six years they’ve taken from us – could make some lawyer very rich I would think!
