I have enjoyed reading about your editor’s exploits in Australia over the last few weeks and wonder if it would be possible to carry on with some sort of travelogue?
Of course not everyone can go so far but, with holiday times approaching it would give us all somewhere to think about going and give us an insight to what’s available in other parts of the globe.
None of the other papers do such a thing so it could be a scoop for my favourite newspaper as well!
Also, I greatly enjoy the articles by Jean Joss and Andrea MacLean (I haven’t seen one from the latter lady recently) to give me some idea of where I can go for a day or two locally.
Anyway, congratulations on keeping going throughout this horrible recession and keep up the good work – we all need a top quality newspaper like yours here on the coast to enjoy each week.
