SuBo to sing for Pontiff

Singing sensation Susan Boyle will sing I Had A Dream, the song that made her famous around the world, when she appears before Pope Benedict XVI, during his UK visit next month. The Britain's Got Talent runner-up will also perform How Great Thou Art  and a third song, title still under wraps, when  she appears before the Pontiff at an open air mass in Glasgow on September 16th.

Susan, who is about to be unveiled in Madame Tussauds, was caught up in this week's row over digital enhancement affecting the X Factor when it was revealed that her stunning audition for BGT had been altered - but not by much, said producers.

Simon Cowell has now banned auto tuning from the show after the row erupted following last week's first show in the new series.
And a new SuBo might have been uncovered last Saturday in the shape of Dublin's Mary Byrne.

She blew the judges away, and got a standing ovation from the audience, with her performance of Shirley Bassey's I Who Have Nothing. Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell praised Mary's singing.
