Morse hangs up skates
Laila Morse is facing surgery on her shoulder after injuring herself during rehearsals for Dancing On Ice.
Morse had been experiencing pain since a slip-up on the ice, and she became the second contestant voted off the show on Sunday. However, instead of returning to Eastenders, Morse has said that she will have to undergo an operation to fix her problem. Morse was in the bottom two on Sunday night, and lost the skate-off against Corey Felman. The judges decided to let her go due to her shoulder injury.
Host Phillip Schofield, who also co-presents Dancing On Ice, then asked, "You do have to go to hospital, this is going to be an operation?", to which Morse replied: "Yeah." Her professional partner Lukasz Rozycki explained, "It's all ripped so basically it needs to be cleaned up, and put back together and sewn in." However, despite her injury, Morse insists she had fun on the show. She adds, "Yeah I did enjoy it."
