New dad Jack Osbourne, son of heavy metal rocker Ozzy and TV show wife Sharon,
has just announced that he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis earlier in the spring and just two weeks after his daughter, Clementine Pearl was born. He told a magazine:
"I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?’ I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be the most important thing.”
"It's important for patients not to rush out and quit their jobs or break up relationships because they may be able to live a full life with manageable symptoms," Rosalind Kalb, a clinical psychologist and director of the Professional Resource Centre at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, said.
His devastated mum, Sharon, appeared on a chat show in floods of tears following the breaking of the news and thanked all the well-wishers who had come forward to offer support and kindness. Symptoms vary wildly with the disease and it is hoped that Jack’s will be minimal given the latest drug advancements.
