Man plunges to his death in El Chorro

A 54-year-old 
man died when he fell from Los Gaitanes pass in El Chorro last week. He was guiding a group of 20 people who were practising canyoning when the rope the man was using snapped and he fell 10 metres to his death. His death brings the number of mortal accidents in Andalucia's mountain areas to four so far this year, with 18 injured. Most of the accidents occurred in Malaga and Granada provinces.
