Muslims cannot use Mezquita

CORDOBA. Bishop Demetrio Fernandez has rejected a request from several Muslim associations to share the city’s famous Mosque which also houses the Cathedral. He said to allow them to do so would be tantamount to saying: “Catholics go away”. The mosque was built on the site of a church and the Cathedral was incorporated after the Moors were expelled in 1236.
