Birthday bash for Friends in Focus

Friends in Focus camera club members and their guests enjoyed a splendid evening at an excellent Venta overlooking Lake Vinuela recently.

Around 30 people attended the venue and the evening was made extra special as it was the birthday of the club’s founder and president, Lynette Carter. She received many birthday cards and gifts. In addition the club’s secretary, Chris Barnes, presented Lynette with a wonderful glass vase filled with orchids plus a birthday cake that Chris had made that was greatly enjoyed by everybody.

The club is shortly visiting Priego de Cordoba for a day trip and next month Morocco on a 5 day tour. Other interesting day and overnight trips are being planned for 2011 so keep an eye on the web site which is http://friendsinfocuscameraclub.com
