AUDITION NOTICE

Peter Brooks will be holding auditions for this “dazzlingly funny,  shamelessly sentimental and utterly captivating night at the theatre” (Lloyd Evans, Spectator). Calender Girls has been playing to packed houses throughout the U.K. since it opened in September 2008 and has raised over three million pounds for leukaemia research.

The cast required are as follows:
Cora, Chris, Annie, Celia, Jessie and Ruth: “The Calendar Girls” With an age range of 40 to 70.
Marie: Leader of the group, aged 50 to 65.  
Lady Cravenshire: Women’s Institute judge who is in her 60’s.
Brenda Hulse: A W.I. lecturer aged 30 to 60
Elaine: A tart with no heart in her 20’s
John and Rod:  Husbands of Annie and Chris repectively, both in their 50’s
Lawrence: A hospital porter in his 20s; and lastly Liam a T.V. commercial director aged between 25 and 45.

Rehearsals will commence mid-September.
Production dates are from the 9th to the 14th November.
