Bus concession should be withdrawn

The general secretary of the Socialist Party in Marbella, José Bernal, has called for the concession to be withdrawn from the Portillo bus company which he described as disastrous. He said that last week  seven of the buses in the Marbella fleet of 19 were out of service and that a bus had to be brought from Estepona to guarantee a minimum service. The Marbella Socialist Party has been making the same demand for several years and Sr Bernal pointed out that one of Mayor Angeles Muñoz's promises had been to improve the town's public transport.
