Aware that business is not as good as it was a few years back, the Association of Tradesmen and Professionals of the Old Town of Marbella has introduced a package called “Old Town, All Inclusive”, which costs €35 for two people.
It includes free access to the Bonsai and Contemporary Spanish Drawing museums, six tapas and three drinks in different establishments in the old town, discounts in the 120 stores taking part in the initiative, a guide to the old town and a map of Marbella.
Single visitors will have to pay the full price but will get two hours free parking and the option of exchanging the tapas-and-drinks for a menu-del-dia meal at one of the restaurants in the old town.
The package is already on sale at some 50 hotels and establishments in the area. The next step is the launching of a web site with the help of “Live it up! In Marbella”, a company specialising in the tourist sector.
