Successful opening of new Terminal

Gibraltar’s new airport terminal was opened last Saturday. The first passengers who used it were those who flew in from Liverpool, and were able to benefit from the use of the two new baggage claim areas, shop and associated facilities. Those who came to pick up friends and family from this and succeeding flights, were able to enjoy the new arrivals concourse that contains retail and catering facilities.

Over the next few days a viewing terrace  will also be opened to the public. Information services will be available along with representation from the  car hire companies and tour operators that currently offer services for arriving passengers in Gibraltar.

The new terminal will initially be open from 9:30 to 16:00  Monday to Saturday and 9:30 to 19:30 on Sundays to handle all flight arrivals.
