First Briefing

The Chief Minister the Hon. Fabian Picardo MP and the Deputy Chief Minister the Hon. Dr  Joseph Garcia MP met with Leader of the Opposition the Hon. Peter Caruana QC MP and the Hon. Daniel Feetham MP.  The meeting had been arranged by the chief minister’s  office to enable the new government to receive a briefing from Mr Caruana and raise issues with him relating to the transition between the former GSD administration and the  GSLP /Liberal adminstration.  

Commenting afterwards, Minister  Picardo said “We agreed in the aftermath of the General Election results to meet for a briefing on pending issues.  In doing so, we all put Gibraltar first and party politics aside.  The meeting has been very useful.”
