Romeo and Juliet hit the spot

A painting of Romeo and Juliet has been voted the most romantic work of art on display in the UK’s museums and galleries in a poll carried out by YouGov on behalf of the Art Fund. 71% of people who voted chose the painting by Frank Bernard Dicksee which is on display at the Southampton City Art Gallery.
