oreign Secretary William Hague says that if Iran continues to pursue new nuclear weapons it could start a new “cold war” and refused to rule out military conflict with them if they carry on.
He continued that he would not exclude any decisions though diplomatic measures would strenuously be pursued first.
He said that a new nuclear crisis would be a “disaster in world affairs” and that he has concerns that other middle east countries could acquire similar nuclear aspirations.
Several western nations have imposed sanctions against Tehran in recent months. The US and EU have expressed hopes that talks can resume with Iran.
