Summer time dining on the terrace at El Potro

As the August heat really bites El Potro is a nice cool spot to dine. The restaurant opens at 3.00 pm during the week for drinks, summer sandwiches, snacks and lovely late lunches on the breezy terraces.

The extra value three-course early bird menus are very good value at only € €14.50  and include a half bottle of wine per person.  After 7.30 pm there is a well thought out à la carte to choose from with something for everyone.

Friday is the Indian curry buffet night – help yourself to any of the six curries, spicy hot and fiery or mild and tasty, meat or vegetarian, all the  extras too, chapaties and nan breads, chutneys and rice. All for  €10  per person with kids under 12 half price.

On Saturday El Potro opens  at 6.00 pm. Whatever your taste in food you’ll find plenty of fine choices, salads, steaks, fish, plenty of vegetarian options and special kids meals. There’s a well stocked bar with good house wines and always pleasant service.

Every Sunday El Potro present their delicious Sunday Carvery from 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Ham, beef, pork, chicken or lamb, plenty of fresh veg and all the British trimmings, at only €12 this is very popular and large parties should definitely book ahead.

There are actually two bars at El Potro, one a separate air conditioned sports bar, the other a stylish but casual lounge bar adjoining the restaurant. El Potro hosts weddings and other special events, private parties and also undertakes outside catering.
