Restaurante El Rio in Calle Manuel Fernandez – off Calle Francisco Cano in Los Boliches, Fuengirola – has been open for 14 years, specialising in top quality Spanish and international food.
Run by Antonio Cabrera and family who pride themselves on service and quality, El Rio’s signature dishes are roast duck with seasonal vegetables served on a platter, steak on a hot stone, steak tartar and Chateaubriand as well as an extensive menu of exquisite starters, main courses and puddings.
Restaurante El Rio is now offering a daily three-course menu with plenty of choice for only €12.50 per person, prepared and served with the same attention to detail and quality as the main “A La Carte” menu. Antonio insists that quality and service are the hallmark of a dining experience and is passionate that all the food served at Restaurante El Rio is up to his high standards – whether it is from the main menu or the menu del dia.
Antonio was previously in Switzerland for 18 years in the Lausanne and Geneva area, latterly at Restaurant le Rio at Vallorbe near the French border, and before that in the UK at Castle Coombe in Wiltshire, The Royal Bath Hotel Bournemouth and the Old Mill Hotel, Bathiston near Bath. With his international pedigree you can expect a dining experience to remember and, if you like, you can try out your languages on Antonio who is quite a linguist.
Antonio and family are pleased to introduce the new Bar El Rio which is opposite Restaurante El Rio. Bar El Rio will be for those who want a more relaxed atmosphere and it will be open for drinks, fantastic tapas and raciones of typical Spanish specialities cooked to Antonio’s high quality standards in their own kitchen. Here you can sit and enjoy a cool beer or a glass of wine and work your way through the range of innovative tapas and snacks on offer and while the afternoon away with close friends and conversation and immerse yourself in
Spanishness.
