Muffins Café Bar opens to great reviews

Muffins in La Cala de Mijas is  located next door to Sunshine Golf and it  officially opened its doors – and its kitchen – to the public on Monday.

Linda and Liz are serving breakfasts, lunches and snacks from 9am until 4.30pm and you can get anything from their Big Breakfast at €7, Small Breakfast at €3.50 – both including tea and toast – to kippers or porridge or boiled eggs and toast.

There is a wide selection of tasty sandwiches, jacket potatoes and dishes such as Steak & Guiness Pie, Chilli with rice, ribs or various omelettes, as well as fresh vibrant salads.

There is a children’s menu available and, last but not least, a selection of fabulous English muffins  (hence the name) including bacon and mushroom, bacon and cheese, scrambled egg and smoked salmon or just butter and jam, not to mention pizza muffins and fruit muffins with cream.

So take a moment to check out Muffins in La Cala just off the N340 for your breakfast, lunch or snack. You won’t be disappointed. Good food, good service... what more can you ask for?
