Time out at The Village

While summer is still very much around and barbecue food is ideal for outdoor dining, why not go along to The Village Inn on the sea side opposite Opencor just off the N340 at Km 194, Las Chapas.

The restaurant specialises in  barbecues and you will find staff cooking choice cuts of meat every day from 11am until late. Plus  there is a special children’s menu, and on  Thursdays and Sundays from 8pm until 10pm The Village Inn even has face painting and a clown to entertain the youngsters. Breakfasts are also available plus sandwiches and tortillas to delight you further.

 

On Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9 until 11pm a fantastic Flamenco show is  put on for your enjoyment.Known locally as the Orange Square, Plaza Santa Maria in Pueblo Andaluz has the perfect shady atmosphere ideal for this time of year. Established in 1989 by the Martin family the restaurant is now run by Antonio Martin and is open every day of the week.

Antonio’s perfect English will help you choose from the extensive menu and wine lists. With such delicacies as camembert deep fried with a rasberry coulis and carpacio of salmon to set the taste buds tingling on the list of starters, you will find that  the rest of the meal is just as delicious.
