Old London leads the League

The Fuengirola Econ Pool league is at the half way point for this winter and as usual very good pool is being exhibited by many of the players. After a slow start the Alba Garden team have steadily gained ground and were sitting pretty in second place until they took a bit of a set back this week against old London Bar.

This week’s match results gave both Tony Shanley's 1 and Scubies room to slip through but it's going to take a good bit of hard work from any team to knock Old London Bar off the top spot. Fisal's team are dominating the league, holding a very healthy lead in the team rankings and with three of their players consistently holding on to three out of the four top spots in the player rankings. Overall top player at the moment has to be the unbeaten Bobby Sunderland from Old London Bar

Over in the very important  “best snacks on the night league table” competition is very tight between the Amistad Bar in Torreblanca and Scubies in  Fuengirola  port. Both are famed for their tasty titbits   – Dan has played his fiery and spicy Asian card on more than one occasion, while Paul from Scubies goes down the British is Best road. Either way hats off and thanks to all teams for providing the home matches snacks.
