The Spanish team heard the news of the award yesterday (Tue) in Buenos Aires, just hours before the game with Argentina. The jury chose the team over mountaineer Eduarne Pasaban, basketball player David Barrufet and athletes Marta Dominghuez and Haile Gebreselassie. Crown Prince Felipe presents the Award every October.
