Second cricket Open Day cancelled due to waterlogged pitch

It was with great frustration that the second cricket open day at Cartama Oval was cancelled after heavy rain  settled on the outfield and refused to disperse before Sunday. I did hear that a submarine attempted to surface but that may have been  a rumour! However we have three more dates, Saturday April 30th, Monday 2nd May (Fiesta Day) and  Sunday May 8th  – possibly all three but please call first stating when you are available. And there is more good news. We have acquired some cricket practice nets, currently on their way from the UK. They should arrive within the next two or three weeks. This will help to put together some youth coaching  opportunities, Details will follow.

Next League game is Malaga v Fuengirola at Cartama Oval on Sunday May 1st starting at 11am.
