John Hill Memorial Classic Car Run in aid of Cudeca

The event, in aid of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice, will take place on Saturday 11th September and is open to the public, especially to those who own a classic car.  All participants are asked to pay a 10€ entrance fee and the start venue is to be confirmed.

The idea is to get some of your friends or associates to sponsor your car to partake in the run, this in order to raise many funds for Cudeca.  Just like sponsoring a conventional run or walk, or a swim etc, almost anyone will give 10 Euros considering that most people have either known someone or been associated with someone lost to cancer.

If each car could find 10 sponsors then we will be really making a great contribution to such an important cause.   The run will finish at the restaurant El Campanario Golf and Country Club in Benamara, just past San Pedro, who will provide a parking and display area just for the cars. Banners and decorations will be in evidence at the hotel in support of Cudeca.

There will also be collecting tins nearby which will be used to collect funds from the general public, and a raffle on the day with numerous prizes kindly donated by local friends and businesses.  An excellent lunch is available for 30€ inclusive of wines etc.
