The Caravan and Motorhome Show 2012 ‘beyond all expectations’

Manchester’s most successful Caravan & Motorhome Show ever saw 31,489 visitors attend the show over four days last week (19th-22nd January), a 42% increase on visitor numbers from last year. Doubled in size and in its new home of EventCity, located alongside The Trafford Centre, The Caravan & Motorhome Show was the biggest ever held in the North West and exhibitors reported record sales, with 70% already confirmed to attend next year.

The largest exhibitor at the show, market leading Swift Group, doubled last year’s sales performance with a record breaking £4 million in sales at the show, attributed to a move of venue to EventCity and a string of new model launches.

Brian Laing, Managing Director of Glossop Caravans said the first day of the show was: “The best I’ve seen in more than 30 years of exhibiting at events. We had the best day of sales we’ve ever had for Glossop Caravans. Attendance and sales have been terrific”.
